Serial Drama Korea Love Alarm berkisah tentang sebuah penciptaan aplikasi alarm yang bisa mendeteksi orang yang dicintai berada dalam jarak 10 meter. Aplikasi ini dioperasikan menggunakan ponsel, dan bernama Joalarm.
Aplikasi ini sangat disukai bahkan semua siswa SMA seumuran Kim Jo Jo (Kim So Hyun) dan Hwang Sun Oh (Song Kang) memakai alarm tersebut.
Namun tidak untuk Kim Jo Jo yang merupakan seorang gadis cantik, pintar, dan cerdas. Merupakan gadis yang menutup semua masa kelamnya dengan menggantikan hal tersebut menjadi kenangan manis bersama teman-temannya.
Namun semuanya berubah ketika dirinya dipertemukan dengan Hwang Sun Oh karena sebuah insiden ciuman. Dan tanpa disadari oleh Kim Jo Jo bahwa teman dari Hwang Sun Oh menyukai dirinya.
